Privacy and Confidentiality Practice
All KnA’s EC members must strictly follow certain level of privacy and confidential rules to safeguard members’ personal information, such as first & last name, date of birth, residential address etc…
Any electronic filing, posting photos and individual residential address on all forms of electronic files or website, such as Facebook and e-media need to follow the KnA’s privacy and confidentiality practice.
1) In order to protect the identity of all members, KnA’s member must only post photos and general title with first name, & last name initial instead of full name spelling.
2) All KnA’s EC members have full responsibility to inform social media or media personnel to get informed consent prior to releasing or disclosing pictures and other forms of private information.
3) Do not post full name with photos, residential address, date of birth, and phone contact.
4) Do not post any photo that is not appropriate for pubic views, that is including photos that accidentally capture by camera during the down time and feel asleep in the meeting.
5) If there is a need for using private information for the purpose of KnA structure or other reason, such as name, date of birth, address etc… consultation or explanation must be given prior to requesting those type of safeguarded information.
6) Any additional condition that does not express in this KnA’s privacy and confidentiality practice, please use common sense to protect co-members’ privacy and confidentiality.
7) KnA is working very hard and following all the United States’ Consumer Privacy Protection Act of 2015. KnA will ensure the privacy and security of sensitive personal information, prevent and mitigate identity theft, provide notice of security breaches involving sensitive personal information, and enhance law enforcement assistance and other protections against security breaches, fraudulent access, and misuse of personal information. We will limit the use of hack-able devices or mechanisms to protect, mitigate and limit the stealing of personal information. All personnel are required to use their best judgments in dealing with information such as name, address, phone number, date of birth, social security, identification number, and other sensitive data. Any alleged misuse or leakage of these information will be immediately reported to the proper authority and law enforcement agencies.
