Thank you! for the hope you all have placed in me, and below is a list of priorities I will work on, closely with my great team.
1. Create an effective organization structure, one that has not properly existed before.
2. Work closely with a local lawyer to get KnA officially registered as a non-profit organization (We are an association, with social, educational and cultural goals). For several years, with the firm support of our local Karenni-Americans, we have wholeheartedly volunteered for this day to come to fruition.
3. Develop some programs geared toward education, culture, and welfare, including fostering a partnership with local organizations.
Again, all these can only be done with the majority support of my “smart, experienced, and informed” team and advisory boards.
