Karenni-American Association’s fire victim donation

Camp#1 fired victim donation campaign was organized by Karenni-American Association began the end of May 2015 and completed in June 2015. The total amount collected $2,100.00.
Karenni-American Association worked with Karenni Community College’s students, who are currently taking community management courses. Those students conducted assessment on fired victim families and reported to the Karenni-American Association.
The donation was unable to send right away due to communication delay issue.
KnA’s secretary visited camp#1, Mae Hong Son, Thailand in December 2015 and delivered the donation to Sara Mo Mimar ( KnCC in charge) and also Moe Bu ( Camp#1 chairwoman) on December 19, 2015.
The donation exchange amount from $2,100 into Thai baht was 74,970.00 bahts. Attached documents provide detail information on official currency exchange rate and also acknowledgement of donation transferred receipts.
Sara Mo Mimar stated that “fired victim families won’t remain the same number as it used to be. Some families moved to third countries and some went back to Karenni state“.
Sara Mo Mimar and Moe Bu (camp chair-lady) will discuss and redo a final assessment for delivery.
